Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at the Crank-2 Bicycle Shop in south Pleasanton and riding south to Sunol and out to the Calaveras reservoir. I rode from home but then turned around at the first summit on Calaveras instead of going past the reservoir.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at Martinez Waterfront Park and heading up to Fairfield for a visit to the Jelly Belly factory. After our stop there we continued north through Mankas to Gordon Valley Rd. before returning on Suisun Valley Rd. through Rockville and Cordelia.

Valley Spokesmen club ride by the Feather Pedals group as part of a series of conditioning rides leading up to the Cinderella Classic in early April. Today's ride started at the Park&Ride lot on Sycamore Ave. in Danville and headed out to north Livermore by way of Camino Tassajara, Highland, Collier Canyon, Carneal, and Manning.

February 13, 2016. Put in at Outback Crab Shack. Chilly start but sunny all the way. Had not been on water since January 10th. A little breezy on the open water of Palmo Cove. Took a short trip down Ward's Creek until a downed tree stopped me. Just as well, 20 yards away was another huge gator sunning himself.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from Heather Farm in Walnut Creek and heading over to Moraga Commons and then up Canyon and Pinehurst to Skyline before descending on Tunnel into Berkeley. Our ride through town included stops at Performance Bike Shop and the original Peet's location where we had refreshments before tackling the climb up Spruce to Wildcat Canyon.

A party of ice fishermen were enjoying the lake but otherwise there was no activity, no skaters. The ice was very good though a little harry getting from the edge onto something firm enough to stand on. On skating around I noticed a snowmobile parked on the ice next to a dock waiting for more snow. Well it is the year for skating instead of snow sports.

Outing of the East Bay Casual Hikers in Las Trampas Regional Park. Our route was on the following trails: Chamise, Mahogany, Chamise, Las Trampas Ridge, Corduroy Hills, Madrone, Virgil Williams, Del Amigo, Sulphur Springs, Trapline, Mahogany, Chamise.

Valley Spokesmen club ride using a modification of our usual 'Moraga Loop' ride by heading over to Castro Valley on Norris Canyon Rd. instead of Dublin Canyon. From there we followed the usual route up Redwood, Pinehurst, and Canyon into Moraga where we stopped for refreshments and then continuing past St. Mary's into Lafayette before returning on the Blvd. and Iron Horse trail.

Fourth in a series of Feather Pedals conditioning rides leading up to the Cinderella metric century in April. Starting at the Danville Park&Ride lot on Sycamore we rode out Camino Tassajara to Windemere/East Branch and then over Old Ranch to Alcosta. From there Norris Canyon took us to Bollinger Canyon and out to the Las Trampas area at the end of the road.
