Monthly ride of the Feather Pedals group of the Valley Spokesmen club. Leaving from the Sycamore Ave. Park&Ride in Danville, we headed south to San Ramon and then out Bollinger Canyon Rd. to its end at the Las Trampas staging area. From there we went south to Dublin with a stop at the Starbucks on Village Pkwy. and Alcosta before returning to the start.

Outing of the East Bay Casual Hikers starting at Castle Rock Park and heading out Stage/Dusty/Wall Point Rds. to Macedo Ranch. After a refreshment stop there we returned on a few different options. Dan led the group I was with on an unnamed trail that roughly paralleled the Briones-Mt. Diablo trail, but on the north side of the ridgeline so we got great views of the Castle Rock formation.

Ride with Eric McIntyre who is on a 7200 mile ride around the country seeking donations to the Lazarex Cancer Foundation in support of people with pancreatic cancer (incl. his wife who is undergoing clinical trials on a new treatment). Today's ride started in Danville where the foundation is based and we headed north with Eric as he headed toward Sonoma today.
