Story

Outing of the East Bay Casual Hikers starting at Castle Rock Park and heading out Stage/Dusty/Wall Point Rds. to Macedo Ranch. After a refreshment stop there we returned on a few different options. Dan led the group I was with on an unnamed trail that roughly paralleled the Briones-Mt. Diablo trail, but on the north side of the ridgeline so we got great views of the Castle Rock formation. That trail connected to the Buckeye Ravine trail which took us back to Stage rd.
