Hike by Wilma's Wednesday Hiker group led by 'Berkeley George' today. Starting at Kennedy Grove at the west end of the San Pablo Reservoir we took the Old San Pablo and Eagle's Nest trails up to the Nimitz Trail and then headed down the Laurel Canyon Rd. to the Environmental Education Center for our lunch stop.
Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at Heather Farm in Walnut Creek and heading south to Alamo and then east up Stone Valley/Green Valley/Diablo rds. past several country clubs (Roundhill, Diablo, and Blackhawk). We returned on Camino Tassajara to Danville and then turned north with a stop in Alamo at Cherubini's.
Valley Spokesmen club ride held on the 1st Sunday of the month leaving from San Ramon Central Park and heading over to Livermore with a Starbucks stop on Vasco. There are a couple options at that point depending on how many hills are desired (the Flynns, Patterson Pass/Cross, or south on Greenville) with a second Starbucks stop on Vineyard before heading back through Pleasanton and Dublin.
Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at Shannon Center in Dublin and heading over the grade to Castro Valley before climbing Redwood and Pinehurst rds. on our way to the Moraga Commons. From there we descended St. Mary's Rd. to Lafayette and returned along the Blvd.
Outing of Wilma's Wednesday Hikers starting at the trailhead on Pleasant Hill Rd. and taking the Lafayette Ridge Trail to the Russell Peak trail. After a lunch stop on the peak, we returned on the same route, but I opted for the Buckeye Ranch/Springhill trail alternative which some others had used on the way up.
Valley Spokesmen club ride starting/ending at the Ferry Bldg. in San Francisco at the end of Market Street. We rode along the Embarcadero and past Crissy Field to the Golden Gate Bridge and then through the Presideo to Lands End. After stopping at the Holocaust Mem.
Valley Spokesmen club ride held on odd-numbered Fridays from San Ramon Central Park using various routes. Today we went through the Windemere development to Tassajara and continued on Fallon Rd. to Jack London into Livermore. Our return was along Stanley past Shadow Cliffs into Pleasanton with a stop at Specialtys Cafe and then back on the Iron Horse trail.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at the Dublin location of Livermore Cyclery on Tues. & Thurs. mornings. Today we rode up to the Peet's Coffee in Danville and on the way back I stopped at Montevideo School to vote in the State Senate special election.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at the S. San Francisco BART station and riding to the Union station by way of Crystal Springs Rsvr., Canada Rd., the Water Temple, Woodside, Palo Alto, Dumbarton Bridge, and Fremont.
Valley Spokesmen club ride billed as particularly suitable for tandems. Leaving from Diablo Vista Park we headed down Tassajara to Highland and took Carneal, Manning and N. Livermore to the Starbucks on Portola. After a refreshment break we returned up Collier Canyon to Highland and then retraced our route back to the start.
Return part of an overnight trip of the NorCal Bicycle Touring Meetup group coming back from Samuel Taylor State Park to San Francisco.
