Outing by the Tuesday U-Turn group in Tilden Regional Park starting at Inspiration Pt. and heading to Vollmer Peak mainly on the Seaview Trail. Our return was along the Lupine and Lower Big Springs trails until we rejoined the Seaview.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from Shannon Center in Dublin and heading out to Livermore. After a stop at the Starbucks on Vasco we returned through Livermore and took Jack London Blvd. to Stoneridge in Pleasanton and then rode through the BART station back to Dublin.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from Shannon Center in Dublin and heading north to Walnut Creek and then west to Moraga and Orinda. After a refreshment stop at Theater Square we returned via the St. Stephens bike path to Lafayette and then back along the Blvd. No pictures taken today.

Hike in Yosemite Park from the El Capitan meadow (shuttle stop) to Bridal Veil Falls.

Short walk in Yosemite Valley to the base of lower Yosemite Falls.

Hike from Happy Isles toward the base of Vernal Falls.

Hike from Half-Dome (formerly Curry) Village to the top of Upper Yosemite Falls. As is evident from the speed graph, I hitched a ride on the park shuttle bus for about half a mile on the way to the trail head.

Outing of "Wilma's Wednesday Hikers" starting/ending in Joaquin Miller Park and also including parts of Redwood/Roberts Regional Parks. Our refreshment stop at Madrone picnic area included a celebration of Wilma's 80th birthday.

Outing of the East Bay Casual Hikers starting at Bob Pond by Borges Ranch and heading through the Shell Ridge Open Space to Homestead Park in Walnut Creek.

Monthly ride by the Feather Pedals group of the Valley Spokesmen club. Starting at the Danville Park&Ride lot off Sycamore Ave. we headed east to Blackhawk and then south through San Ramon and Dublin. Getting on the bike trail under I-580 we continued into Pleasanton to W. Las Positas before returning on San Ramon Valley Blvd.

Hike with Wilma's Wednesday Hikers on a day with rain forecast. Switched the planned hike to the Stream Trail to minimize mud and potential slips we thought we might encounter in the originally planned Leona Canyon.

Traditional Valley Spokesmen club ride on New Years Day - ride from Danville to the top of Mt. Diablo. The track here also includes my ride to/from the start from my home in San Ramon.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from the Sycamore Ave. Park&Ride in Danville and heading up to Lafayette and Orinda via Happy Valley. After a refreshment stop at the Orinda Library the main group continued up Camino Pablo to Bear Creek Rd. and returned via Happy Valley. I came back the less hilly way on the St. Stephen's trail to Lafayette and back along the Blvd.
