Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from Shannon Center in Dublin and heading south to Pleasanton and over Dublin Grade into Castro Valley. After a stop at Bay Trees park we continued up Redwood and Pinehurst roads into Moraga and then over to Orinda for a refreshment stop at Peet's. Our return was via the bike path along Hwy. 24 and into Lafayette, Olymipic Blvd.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from the W. Dublin BART station and heading over Dublin grade to Castro Valley and then past Lake Chabot into Oakland. We then took the Bay Bridge bike path to Yerba Buena and Treasure Islands before returning across the bridge to the W. Oakland BART station.

Outing of Wilma's Wednesday Hiker group on the Bear Creek and Oursan trails around Briones Reservoir on EBMUD property. We started at the Bear Creek staging area and went clockwise with a lunch stop at the Cal boathouse near the north end of the dam. Most of the group then returned along the same route but 4 of us continued around the reservoir to complete the loop.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from San Ramon Central Park and heading north to the Stone Valley/Green Valley neighborhood and then up to Livorna Park. Our return was via the Blvd. to Norris and the Iron Horse.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from the Park&Ride at Sycamore Ave. and I-680. We headed out Camino Tassajara with out-and-back excursions on Finley, Johnson, and the Highland/Carneal/Collier Cyn. loop before continuing to Windemere.

Valley Spokesmen club ride along the Bay Trail around the southern end of the SF Bay. Starting at Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge we started out on roads through a rather industrial part of Fremont before getting on the trail through marshland along the southern edge of the bay.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from Diablo Vista Park in Danville and heading over to Livermore via Camino Tassajara, Highland, Carneal, Manning, and N. Livermore roads. After a stop at Peet's Coffee we continued to Pleasanton on Vineyard and then back to the start. The end of the ride shown here differs a bit since I started from home.

Outing of Wilma's Wednesday Hikers in Garin/Dry Creek Regional Parks. Starting at the Ziele Creek Dr. entrance in Hayward, we headed south on the Ziele Creek to Vista Peak Loop and then Newt Pond to High Ridge Loop and Meyers Ranch trails before turning north on Dry Creek to our lunch stop at Jordan Pond. Return was via Vista Peak Loop to Ziele Creek.

Grizzly Peak club ride starting at the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station and heading south through Sunol to the 1st summit on Calaveras Rd.

Grizzly Peak club ride starting from the Orinda BART station and heading up San Pablo, Castro Ranch, and Alhambra Valley roads to Pig Farm hill. We then continued up Reliez Valley rd. to Lafayette before taking the Blvd. into Danville. The official route went back to Orinda from there, but I had ridden from home so I continued back to San Ramon after a stop at Windmill Farms for some groceries.

Valley Spokesmen club ride held on odd-numbered Fridays starting from San Ramon's Central Park and using various routes. Today we rode up to the Las Trampas staging area before heading back down and continuing south to Amador Valley Blvd. in Dublin before returning to Central Park. I stopped off to do some grocery shopping in Dublin so the last part of the track here differs from the club route.

Valley Spokesmen 'Progressive Dinner' ride. Starting at the home of one of our members, we first did an 18-mile loop in the farmland to the north before returning to have a first course of a variety of soups. We then rode a second loop of 37 miles which included some nearby towns before having salads, lasagna entrees, and dessert.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at the W. Dublin BART station and heading over Dublin grade to Castro Valley before continuing past lakes Chabot and Merritt to the Bay Bridge bike path. It's now open on weekends to Yerba Buena island and we rode from there onto Treasure island before heading back across the bridge to the W. Oakland BART station.
