Attempt to walk down Charity Valley to look at Wildflowers. Had some trouble finding the trail. Left when a thunderhead was dropping lightning within 9 seconds of the trail.
Went out on a boat to take morning photographs. Ran out of gas on the south side of the Lake. Flooded the engine after changing tanks. Boated over to the west side of the lake and then the wind picked up.
Medium hike from Stanford Camp. Thunderhead built up and dropped just as I returned to camp. Took the shortcut back but it was a little muddy.
Morning Hike to Angora Lake and Back
This track is really off. It's a loop so it should start where it ended. I don't know what happened to my QSTARZ Q1000P but it is way off. We never walked east of Lyon but the track shows us walking on Divisadero which is three blocks away. Then suddenly the track corrects near the Broadway gate.
Missing LuLu
Went around Rodeo Lagoon twice because I arrived an hour earlier than the Trail Forever Orientation.
Try to do it when there is less fog.
Out Simmons to Berry Trails to Marin Watershed Lakes. Back on Cataract Trail.
Led by Susie
Walk the Coast Trail to One-Mile Beach in Lands End
Hike to bird watching site led by Bob.
Walked along the Beach on a record heat day. Found you could walk on the beach from Baker Beach all the way to Fort Point if you didn\'t let the naked gay men and their activity bother you.
Friday Hike Led by Susie. Broke off to take the thousand step trail. Slightly lost around Rob Hill. But found the dump.
Hike from Rock Springs Trailhead down Cataract Trail, cut off on High Marks before Falls, take the ridge back. Led by Mitch.
Standard Tour of Ano Nuevo Elephant Seal Preserve. We were about a week too late to really see the mating season. Also, the docent said that the seals are much more active when it's cold and raining.
This trip occurred on two days. The beginning is just the water run before dinner to pump water out below the nearby falls. The next day was the real hike out of Big Basin to the Pacific Ocean, though we didn't touch the beach. Mostly this was the Berry Creek Trail and the multiple waterfalls on it.
Backpacking from Jay Camp to Sunset Camp in Big Basin State Park, CA. Started on the Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail but it was closed so be backtracked to the Sunset Trail. The track picked up some bogus data about 4.5 miles in. The triangle is spurious.
Led by Judy. A 2B hike near Samuel Taylor Park.
Went looking for Coffee Shops on Clement in the Outer Richmond.
