Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at Diablo Vista Park and heading east to Livermore where we stopped at the Starbucks on Vasco.  Then we continued east on Patterson Pass Rd. and took Cross Rd. south to Tesla and rode west back into town.  Concannon and Holmes took us south of town and we did a loop through the Kalthof vineyard area before our second Starbucks stop on Vineyard.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at San Ramon's Central Park and making a loop through Blackhawk, Alamo, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Castro Valley, and Dublin. First in a series of 6 rides this week which will all be about 60 miles with substantial climbs as training for a couple members who are planning an extended tour.

Last in a series of weekly training rides by the Feather Pedals group of the Valley Spokesmen club leading up to the Cinderella ride on April 5th.  Today we started at Dublin HS and headed south through Pleasanton and then over to Livermore.  There were two routes.

Valley Spokesmen club ride held on every odd-numbered Friday.  Starting at San Ramon's Central Park we first headed south to Dublin and then turned north on Dougherty/Bollinger to Crow Canyon and Tassajara in Blackhawk.  Tassajara took us west into Danville and we took Diablo, El Cerro, and El Pintado for a little extra loop before our refreshment stop at La Boulange bakery.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at the Dublin location of Livermore Cyclery and heading up to Blackhawk and then to Alamo before turning south on Danville Blvd. to head to our refreshment stop at Peet's Coffee.  Our return was on the Iron Horse to San Ramon and then back on the blvd.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at Heather Farm in Walnut Creek and heading south to the Las Trampas staging area at the end of Bollinger Canyon Rd.  The track here reflects that I rode to the start from my home in San Ramon and then skipped the return part of the ride.

Outing of the Tuesday U-Turn Hikers.  Starting in Castle Rock Park, we headed into Mt. Diablo State Park and took Burma Rd. up to Camel Rock just off North Gate Rd.  After a snack stop there we returned on Camel Rock, Sunset, and Stage Rd. trails.

Valley Spokesmen club ride from Heather Farm heading south to Alamo and then through the Diablo and Blackhawk country clubs before turning east into Danville and then back north.

This is a short (10 km) hike that can be done with the entire family across pastures and woods. The trail is constantly closed to the village and it can quickly be reached in case of rainfall. There are two small hills to add a touch of difficulty to that nice and easy hike.

Already in the Middlebury area, I took a little time out to ski. Conditions were perfect, to start with at least. Well groomed trail with an inch of new power was perfect for skating. If you view the "Stats" mode on the map you’ll see I had a false start and went back to trade in my fleece vest for a wind shell. I skied this trip with no pack or even water.
