Outing of the East Bay Casual Hikers in Redwood Park outside Oakland. We started from the Canyon Meadows Staging Area, went past the Fish Ladder to the Bridle trail and continued on the Orchard, French, Madrone, Starflower, French, Tres Sendas, and finally Stream trail back to the start.

Outing of Wilma's Wednesday hiking group in Redwood Park starting from the MacDonald Trail Staging area. A shorter hike than usual without the normal snack break due to the forecast rain. We started on the Golden Spike trail to the Bridle and then up the Chown to West Ridge. Our return was down West Ridge to Tate and then back on the Golden Spike.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at San Ramon Central Park and heading over to Livermore with a return on Stanley to Pleasanton and back through the BART station.

Second conditioning ride by the Feather Pedals group of the Valley Spokesmen club in preparation for the Cinderella Classic ride. Today we started from the Sycamore Ave. Park&Ride lot in Danville and headed up to Blackhawk, through the Diablo country club, and the Roundhill country club in Alamo. After a brief stop at Livorna Park we continued to Rudgear Rd.

Valley Spokesmen club ride held on odd-numbered Fridays from San Ramon Central Park. Today we headed south on Alcosta to Old Ranch and continued on the Alamo Creek/Canal trail to Dublin. We then turned back north through San Ramon and took the Blvd. up to Alamo with a snack stop at Cherubini's. Our return was down the Iron Horse back to the start.

Day 2 of Agasthyakoodam Trekking. From Athirumala camp to Agastya Mala peak, back to Athirumala and them to the starting point at Bonacaud forest station. GPS started about 30 minutes after starting the trek. Two breaks (one for lunch at Athirumala and another for bathing).

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from Diablo Vista Park in Danville and heading over to Livermore for a stop at Peet's Coffee before continuing to Pleasanton. Return was through Bart station to Dublin.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from Diablo Vista Park and heading over to Livermore. The official ride continued over Carrol and N&S Flynn rds. before returning via Collier Canyon. Since I rode from home I opted to make a loop through Livermore and Pleasanton.
