Outing of the East Bay Casual Hikers in the Lake Chabot area. Starting at Marciel Gate on Redwood Rd. we took the Cottontail tr. down to the stone bridge and then continued on the Cascade and Columbine trails.

Starting at the trail head at the end of Park Ridge Dr. off Skyline, we took the MacDonald trail down to Bort Meadow and then did a loop up to the Skyline trail, down Horeshoe trail, and over the Brandon trail back to Bort Meadow. After a lunch stop there we returned on the MacDonald trail.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at the Bollinger Canyon Park&Ride lot in San Ramon. We headed south through Dublin and over the grade into Castro Valley with a stop at Bay Tree Park before continuing past Lake Chabot into Oakland. Climbing past the zoo entrance we headed up Golf Links to Skyline and then took Redwood Rd. down to Pinehurst and into Moraga.

Valley Spokesmen club ride to the summit of Mt. Hamilton from the intersection of Mt. Hamilton and Alum Rock rds. In celebration of his birthday one of our members and his daughters provided sag service on this ride - bringing sandwiches, sodas, and warm clothes up to the summit. Lick Observatory is located at the summit with a visitor center, gift shop, and vending machine for refreshments.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at the Bollinger Canyon Park&Ride and heading out to Livermore via Gleason, Fallon, and Jack London. On the return we stopped at the Starbucks on Vineyard before heading back through Pleasanton and the Dublin BART station.

Valley Spokesmen club ride starting at the Martinez waterfront and riding along the south side of the strait to Crockett, crossing the Zampa bridge to Vallejo, cont. to Benicia, and returning over the Benicia bridge.

Today we headed southeast to Pleasanton and took Stoneridge/Jack London over to Livermore. After looping through town with a stop at the Peet's Coffee we returned on Jack London and took Fallon into Dublin to return to the start. No pictures today.
