A moderate long and steep route to Mauchele Alm (1830m). Start from Zaunhof Moosbrücke (1266m) and follow the signs uphill the paved road. After some switchbacks you will reach Rehwald. From there the road goes over into a dirt road. It's about 400m up in elevation from this point. The road is in some sections very steep and long stretches are in the sun so keep that in mind. After 1hr you will finally reach the Alm. From here you can take multiple routes that will take you further up in the mountains. We took the shortest route down to Boden. Be careful, though, because this path is in some sections extremely steep downhill! Especially the sections between the trees is very dangerous because the underground is quite loose and soft. It's about 45min. until you reach Boden.

- Always be prepared for changing weather, especially in these high alpine
areas. Even on a clear day, the weather can change suddenly!- Be prepared for long and steep uphill sections. Also the downhill part is not easy.- It's not recommend to start from Boden because this way the path is very steep uphill.
