Some steep climbs.

Some Thai dirt bikers got stuck for a while. I think he was a little embarrassed by all the attention.
It doesn't look steep but it gets to you pretty quickly.
We came out to this road which takes us to our break spot and then the peak.

Steep climb up means a steep hike down. It was around this time that we started finding leeches on us. Some more than others.
Fuzzy caterpillars and nice to look at but don't touch.
At a temple, this appears to be a meditation spot. You have to use a ladder to get to the steps nailed into the tree.

Story
A really fun, hike with good group from the Doi Pui mountain village up to the peak of Doi Suthep and around to the village from another direction. We had steep climbs, lots of leeches as well as heavy rain and enjoyed every minute.
The hike was a loop but I failed to turn off my tracking which explains the leg at the bottom of the map.
