This is a very nice, 3 hour hike from the first rest stop on the road to Doi Suthep Temple, to the Temple itself. You can park just below the zoo and follow the same creek for an extra 20 minutes or so but we drove to here for time. The trail is pretty well marked except for a couple of spots that had us turning around a little. It requires a bit of climbing over rocks and crossing logs but nothing too bad. Bring a couple of bottles of water and depending on the season, maybe a rain jacket, just in case.
Beautiful hike up the creek for most of the way that is never boring.
You can make your way back on foot but again for time, we grabbed a red truck from the temple.
