Story
Valley Spokesmen club ride from Monte Vista High School to Mt. Diablo. Part of a series of rides leading up to the Diablo Challenge event on Oct. 8th. Today's ride was preceded by a discussion of climbing and descending skills and tips by Meredith Nielsen. This was followed by a ride a short way up the mountain at which point individuals rode down and back up and suggestions were given on their technique and form. I opted to continue on to the junction instead.
