Story
I was originally going to go up via Crowden Clough , but with cloud stubbornly sitting on the tops , an irksome wind and the odd squall it didn't feel like enjoyable scrambling weather .So I sidetracked onto Grindslow Knoll and followed the edge round to the clough head . The cloud was beginning to lift a little as I headed up the brook and I rather enjoyed just wandering around generally towards Crowden Head having a look at the work being done on the plateau nowadays . Then down to Kinder Gates and the Downfall before returning via Kinder Low and Jacobs Ladder .
