Story
Scott, Nilou, Beth, Elizabeth, and Becky (plus dogs Jake, Sophie, and Jaeger) take the Resthouse Trail in the Mt. Evans Wilderness area in the first part of November. Despite being late in the season the sky was clear and it was quite warm except for the first part of the hike which is shady and the trail was covered in snow. Once over the first hill we all had to shed layers to cool off.Resthouse is another great hike in the wonderfull Mt. Evans Wilderness Area. The scenery is some of the best I've ever seen anywhere.Other trails in the area that are just as beautiful are Beaver Meadows and Chicago Lakes.
