Story
Coffee, tea and croissants were waiting for the group of
hikers a couple of kilometers further up the village of L'Entre-Deux
(French for The Between-Two). We left for our three-hour hike at 8 am
under a sky as blue as the Indian Ocean which could be seen from time to time
through the thick forest composed by a wide variety of trees and plants clearly explained in details by the organizers of that hike.
The view from Le Dimitile (1815m) is a breathtaking
viewpoint overlooking the Cirque de
Cilaos. We were fortunate enough to rich the top just on time.
Usually, by noon, clouds start to gather around the summit and days often end
under the rain.
