Story
This is in Hood River on the Washington side. Parking off the side of the road with room for about 20 cars. The trailhead us up a bit from the parking lot, with facilities. This trail starts out with a bang, it does level off for a bit, but not for long. The trail is well maintained, with amazing views of the valley and surrounding mountains from the top of the trail. Everything looks better covered in snow, and it definitely didn't disappoint! It was VERY windy near the top (to the point where I had to hang on to Deb so that she didn't blow off of the mountain - these were probably 60-70 MPH gusts. Bitter cold with the wind. Really good run down.
