Story
Valley Spokesmen club ride hosted by one of our members in celebration of her birthday. The ride started at the Benicia waterfront and headed up to the north end of the Benicia bridge and down through the refinery area on Park and Industrial rds. and then up Lake Herman rd. to Columbus Pkwy. and the bike trail along the freeway to American Canyon. After refueling with some of Barbara's cookies we continued on American Canyon into Vallejo and took Fairgrounds Rd. south to Redwood where we took the Blue Rock Springs Cycle path up to Ascot Dr. and back to Columbus Pkwy. We then crossed I-780 on Austin's bridge into Benicia State Park and up to Barbara's home for pear cobbler and ice cream before returning to the start.
