Story

A highly recommended four season trip. The kiosk at the trail head provides trail maps and a fascinating self-guiding nature brochure that describes 25 waypoints along the way., This area was an active lime quarry from around 1730 to 1930. The quarried areas are still visible, as is a rebuilt lime kiln. The trails are well-maintained and gentle.
