Made it to the peak in approximately 1 hour 6 minutes (darn, so close to sub-1 hour), but didn't stay too long at the top because I was watching the dark clouds in the distance the whole way up and knew that rain was coming.

A hike to Shirley lake starting near the edge of the Squaw Valley Village, then one to the top of Squaw High Camp where you can "download" back to the base on the Arial Tram ("uploading" on the tram costs $29/each per adult, but "downloading" is free)Note: the elevation on the 1st 0.3 miles is wrong...we didn't fall off a cliff at the 0.3 mi mark.
