Valley Spokesmen club ride starting from Shannon Center in Dublin and heading south through Niles Canyon and along the Alameda Creek trail to the Dumbarton Bridge. After a rest stop in Palo Alto we continued up Sandhill and Portola to Old LaHonda for our first major climb and then descended to the LaHonda market for another regroup and refreshment stop. Pescadero Rd. to McDonald Park gave us our second big climb and we then descended past Butano Park and took Gazos Creek Rd. to Hwy. 1 for a tailwind-aided run down the coast to Santa Cruz after a final stop in Davenport.
