Story

Valley Spokesmen traditional New Year's Ride from Danville to the summit of Mt. Diablo (3849'). Sunny but rather chilly day with the temperature in the 30s for most of the ride. Fortunately not much wind so it was really quite pleasant at the summit. But some fog/smoke rolled in from the east so we didn't get as nice a view as we had expected.
