Story
East Bay Casual Hikers outing starting at the Valle Vista staging area near Moraga. Our start was on an EBMUD (water district) trail and we then crossed Pinehurst Rd. to continue into Redwood Park. We climbed to the East Ridge trail and then descended on Prince Rd. down to the Stream trail. After a refreshment stop at 'Trail's End' we continued down the Stream before climbing the Canyon trail back up to the East Ridge and then back the way we came - except to take the road instead of the EBMUD trail in order to avoid a particularly muddy and slippery downhill on this rainy day.
