While there are some real risks, I love snowshoeing on frozen ponds. You get to enjoy views that you can only see from a watercraft and in the winter the views are truly unique. Today, Squashman and I trekked across the pond from the south to nab a microcache from an island. Along the way we passed a couple dozen ice fisherman who were set up on the southern side of the pond. A good time was had by all!
